This is a working-foreman role — you’ll supervise and coordinate crews while also climbing on roofs, mounting racking, pulling wire, and commissioning PV systems as needed. Ideal candidate has solid PV installation experience and is ready to step up to crew leadership and job coordination.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and coordinate installation crews on site daily; assign tasks and monitor progress to meet project schedules
  • Perform and supervise hands-on PV installation work: racking, module placement, wiring, inverters, and grounding
  • Enforce safety procedures, PPE, fall protection, and maintain a clean, orderly job site
  • Communicate directly with project managers, other trades, and homeowners to resolve issues and report status
  • Verify work meets drawings, site assessments, and local/state/federal code requirements; complete punch lists
  • Maintain project documentation: daily reports, time sheets, material tracking, and quality checklists

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years PV installation experience with proven hands-on skills on residential/commercial systems
  • Prior foreman or crew lead experience supervising small to mid-size field crews
  • Ability to read plans, interpret system layouts, and follow installation manuals and wiring diagrams
  • Strong safety focus — experience enforcing site safety, fall protection, and relevant regulations
  • Skilled in basic electrical tasks, conduit, grounding, inverter connections, and commissioning
  • Reliable, organized, good communicator; able to track performance, maintain documentation, and meet project objectives

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • OSHA 10 (required) — OSHA 30 preferred
  • NABCEP PV Associate or Installer preferred but not required
  • Current First Aid/CPR or willing to obtain
  • Able to pass background check and drug screen
  • Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 50 lbs; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay with overtime available (time-and-a-half)
  • Health insurance options and paid time off
  • Tool allowance and safety gear provided
  • Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle for work travel
  • Paid training and certification support (NABCEP prep, safety courses)
