Electrical Construction Superintendent

About This Role

Experienced Electrical Construction Superintendent needed for projects in the Conover / Charlotte, NC area. You’ll run day-to-day field operations on large electrical jobs — scheduling crews, managing material logistics, enforcing safety, overseeing QA/QC, leading BIM layout, and directing prefab and installation work. This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll coordinate with project management, safety, QA/QC, BIM and prefab teams, set production goals, keep crews productive, and ensure work meets specs, codes, and schedule. OSHA 30 required; state electrician license preferred or 4–10 years of relevant electrical construction experience.

What You'll Do

• • Plan, direct and supervise electrical field crews and daily work activities to meet schedule and production goals
• • Create and maintain project schedules, manpower plans and weekly production targets with Project and Field Operations teams
• • Develop and manage material management and jobsite logistics plans — ordering, receiving and organizing materials on site
• • Lead BIM layout and review drawings for prefab and field installation; coordinate BIM deliverables with prefab and PM teams
• • Create and enforce site-specific safety and QA/QC plans; work with onsite safety and QA/QC staff to resolve issues and document inspections
• • Oversee prefabrication planning and installation schedules; manage deliveries and ensure assemblies meet project specs

What We're Looking For

• • OSHA 30 certification required
• • State electrician license preferred OR 4–10 years of related electrical construction experience
• • Proven field leadership supervising crews on commercial or mission-critical projects (datacenter, PV, industrial preferred)
• • Hands-on experience with BIM layout, prefabrication coordination, conduit bending, transformers and medium-voltage equipment
• • Strong scheduling and material/logistics skills; able to build manpower projections and hit production targets
• • Able to work outdoors, lift ~50 lbs regularly, and pass drug/background screening

Qualifications

• • OSHA 30 certification
• • State Licensed Electrician OR 4–10 years related electrical construction experience
• • OSHA 10 (preferred)
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• • CPR/First Aid preferred
• • Able to pass company drug test and background check; English proficiency for crew communication
