About this role
Experienced superintendent needed in the Conover / Charlotte, NC area to lead field installation and maintenance on large commercial and mission-critical electrical projects. You will run day-to-day field operations, set production goals, and make sure installations meet schedule, code, and owner expectations. This is a hands-on role that leads crews and coordinates with project management, BIM, prefab, safety, and QA/QC teams. Expect to build and maintain schedules and manpower plans, manage materials and logistics, lead BIM layout and prefab efforts, and enforce site safety and quality standards.
What you'll do
- Plan, direct and supervise electrical field crews and daily installation activities to meet project schedules and contract requirements
- Create and maintain project schedules, manpower plans and measurable crew production goals; update weekly with project team
- Develop and implement material management and jobsite logistics plans—order, receive, stage and track materials
- Lead BIM layout and coordinate prefab deliveries with BIM, prefab foremen and field teams to ensure on-time installation
- Create and enforce site-specific safety and QA/QC plans; perform inspections, manage punch lists and coordinate testing/documentation
- Train and evaluate field personnel, work with field operations to move temporary staff to permanent roles when appropriate
What we're looking for
- OSHA 30 required
- State electrician license OR 4–10 years of related electrical construction superintendent/foreman experience
- Proven experience with BIM coordination, prefab planning, conduit and raceway layout, and medium/low voltage systems
- Strong scheduling and manpower planning skills; comfortable producing and updating weekly crew plans
- Hands-on ability to perform field inspections, read electrical drawings, manage punch lists and lead safety briefings
- Able to work indoors/outdoors, regularly lift 50 lbs, and pass background and drug screening
Qualifications
- OSHA 30 (required)
- State electrician license (preferred) OR 4–10 years related electrical construction experience
- OSHA 10 (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Proficient in reading electrical drawings and basic construction software; English fluency required
