Electrical Superintendent — Hyperscale Datacenter

Nationwide

About this role

Experienced electrical superintendent needed to lead field operations on large hyperscale datacenter builds across the U.S. You’ll oversee day-to-day site activities, manage crews and subcontractors, and ensure electrical systems are installed to code, on schedule, and to mission-critical quality standards. This role focuses on hands-on field supervision and coordination: manpower and material planning, 6–8 week look-aheads, sequencing, and interfacing directly with project management and owners to resolve issues quickly. Ideal candidates are practical, safety-focused leaders who know NEC, medium-voltage systems, and large cable/pull work.

What you'll do

  • Lead daily site operations for hyperscale datacenter electrical scope: supervise crews, subcontractors, and on-site sequencing
  • Enforce safety, quality control, and site procedures; conduct toolbox talks and site inspections
  • Coordinate logistics, maintain 6–8 week look-ahead schedules, and adjust manpower/materials to meet milestones
  • Direct electrical installation activities: conduit bending, raceways, large cable pulls, transformer and MV work, and standby/emergency systems
  • Maintain project documentation: daily reports, RFI logs, punch lists, and attendance/time records
  • Interface with project management, owners, and other trades to resolve conflicts and report progress/issues

What we're looking for

  • Proven field experience supervising electrical work on large commercial or hyperscale datacenter projects
  • Strong working knowledge of current NEC and ability to enforce code-compliant installations
  • Skilled in conduit bending, raceway/wireway installation, large cable pulls, transformer and MV equipment work
  • Experience with sequencing, manpower/material projections, time-and-material tracking, and look-ahead planning
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and technical specs
  • Clear communicator in English with the ability to coordinate multi-trade teams; Spanish language ability preferred

Qualifications

  • NCCER electrical certification (preferred)
  • OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 required
  • Fluent in English; Spanish required or strongly preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel nationwide (overnight travel often required)
  • Proven supervisory/foreman background on commercial or industrial electrical projects

What we offer

  • Paid medical, dental, and vision plans
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Per diem or travel reimbursement for out-of-area assignments
  • Paid safety and skills training; certification renewals covered
  • Overtime opportunities on project schedules
  • Boot/tools allowance and site PPE provided
