CDL Class B Driver

About This Role

Join a busy construction supply team in Temple, TX as a CDL Class B Driver. This role is about 85% driving—delivering construction materials and equipment to job sites—and about 15% warehouse work pulling orders, loading trucks, and keeping the yard organized. What You'll Do

• • Load and secure customer orders and equipment onto company trucks; perform safe tie-downs and basic rigging
• • Drive local routes to deliver and pick up construction supplies and equipment (approx. 85% of the role)
• • Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment to pull and stage orders (approx. 15% warehouse work)
• • Interact directly with customers on job sites—deliver items, get signatures, and provide professional service
• • Maintain warehouse and truck cleanliness and organization; perform basic equipment cleaning and checks
• • Follow dispatch instructions, complete delivery paperwork, and report delivery issues promptly

What We're Looking For

• • Valid CDL Class B license with a clean driving record
• • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and MVR check
• • Forklift operation skills and safe towing/hauling experience
• • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse tasks
• • Good verbal communication and customer service skills
• • Basic knowledge of construction supplies, jobsite delivery procedures, and inventory control

Qualifications

• • CDL Class B (required)
• • Forklift Operator certification (preferred/required)
• • Valid driver's license and clean MVR
• • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks
• • DOT medical card or ability to obtain one
