Warehouse Associate / Driver

Temple, TX Up to $27/hr

About This Role

Join a busy construction supply and equipment team in Temple, TX as a Driver/Warehouse Associate. You’ll handle receiving, stocking, loading/unloading, preparing orders, and making local deliveries to jobsites. Work is hands-on and fast-paced — you’ll need to move efficiently and keep the yard and rental gear ready to go. This role is practical and physical: expect lifting, driving an F-450 flatbed, and occasional forklift/aerial lift use. Pay up to $27/hr. Safety, good customer service, and attention to inventory accuracy are required. Ongoing safety training and on-the-job coaching are provided.

What You'll Do

  • Receive, inspect, stock and organize incoming inventory and rental equipment.
  • Load/unload delivery trucks, prepare and palletize orders for shipment, and sign for deliveries.
  • Drive F-450 flatbed and make local deliveries to jobsites; assist as back-up driver/runner when needed.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts, maintain bin/location accuracy, and support inventory control procedures.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and equipment readiness: clean rental gear, sweep, and organize staging areas.
  • Assist with dispatching, equipment/material transfers, and other warehouse tasks as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must pass MVR and drug screen.
  • Proven experience loading/unloading material, preparing orders for shipment, and signing for deliveries.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in outdoor/warehouse conditions.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office/Excel); experience with inventory or rental software (Rental Man) is a plus.
  • Qualified driving and towing skills; trailer experience preferred. Forklift and aerial lift experience helpful.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills; reliable, organized, and able to work independently or on a team.

Qualifications

  • Forklift Operator certification (preferred — training may be available).
  • Aerial Lift (boom lift) certification preferred.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and clean MVR.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background/MVR checks.
  • English proficiency for safe communication on site; Spanish helpful but not required.

What We Offer

  • Pay up to $27/hr with opportunity for overtime pay.
  • Paid on-the-job safety training and skill development (forklift/aerial lift training as available).
  • PPE and basic equipment supplied; steady local routes and predictable schedule.
  • Opportunity for advancement into senior driver/warehouse or dispatch roles.
  • Hands-on, practical work environment — direct impact on jobsite readiness.
