Warehouse Coordinator
About This Role
Hands-on Warehouse Coordinator position in Los Lunas, NM supporting daily operations for an equipment rental operation. You’ll handle equipment check-ins and check-outs, coordinate deliveries and pickups, keep inventory accurate, and work directly with drivers and customers to get jobs done right. This is a practical, physical role — you’ll be loading and unloading equipment, operating a forklift, and keeping the yard and warehouse organized and safe. We want dependable people with good communication skills who can manage the logistics and keep customers and crews moving on schedule.
What You'll Do
- • Oversee equipment check-in and check-out: inspect equipment, log condition, and update records
- • Coordinate and schedule deliveries and pickups with drivers and customers
- • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, securing equipment for transport
- • Maintain accurate inventory records and update system entries (daily cycle counts)
- • Communicate with customers, dispatch, and on-site crews to resolve issues and confirm orders
What We're Looking For
- • Proven experience loading/unloading material and working in a busy warehouse or yard
- • Strong verbal and written communication; able to coordinate with drivers, customers, and team members
- • Knowledge of inventory control and basic supply chain/logistics processes
- • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook for logging and reporting
- • Forklift operation experience and familiarity with safe rigging/securement practices
- • Customer-facing experience with solid client relationship management skills
Qualifications
- • Forklift certification or documented experience operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts (preferred)
- • Valid New Mexico driver’s license and safe driving record
- • High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in varying weather
- • Willingness to pass background check and drug screening
- • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
