Journeyman Pipe Welder

About this role

We are seeking a journeyman-level pipe welder based in Seminole, TX for site and project work. This role requires a skilled pipe welder who can read piping and mechanical blueprints, fabricate and fit pipe, and perform quality welds across multiple processes. Per diem is available for travel assignments. This is a hands-on role that requires 4+ years of pipe welding experience and the ability to travel to job sites as assigned. You’ll work on piping installation, butt-weld fabrication, and structural fit-up while following site safety and inspection procedures.

What you'll do

• • Perform pipe welding on-site using GMAW, FCAW and GTAW processes to meet project specifications
• • Execute butt-weld pipe fabrication and fit-up from drawings and templates
• • Read and interpret piping and mechanical blueprints for layout and installation
• • Install piping systems and perform structural steel welding and fit-up as required
• • Perform weld inspections, document work, and maintain quality records
• • Follow site safety procedures, maintain tools and equipment, and report issues

What we're looking for

• • Journeyman-level pipe welding experience with 4+ years in field pipe welding
• • Proven ability with GMAW, FCAW and GTAW for pipe applications
• • Skilled in butt-weld pipe fabrication, piping installation and fit-up
• • Ability to read and interpret piping & mechanical blueprints and isometrics
• • Comfortable with travel and multi-day site assignments
• • Physically able to work in industrial jobsite conditions and lift required loads

Qualifications

• • Documented journeyman-level welding experience or trade credential
• • Employer-recognized welding qualifications or test plates for pipe work
• • Able to pass drug screen and background check where required
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• • High school diploma or equivalent
• • English required; Spanish language skills a plus
