About This Role
Join a hands-on building services crew in Houston as a full-time Carpenter / Building Services Technician. You’ll handle facility maintenance, repairs, and minor commercial construction work across specialized projects. This role pays $23–$35/hr depending on experience and includes on-site, physical work with opportunities for overtime.
What You'll Do
- • Perform rough and finish carpentry, trim, door/hardware work, basic concrete repair, and commercial-grade painting.
- • Diagnose facility issues, make cost-effective repairs, and complete small modifications to meet project specs and ADA/building codes.
- • Source materials, estimate small jobs, coordinate with vendors, and manage job-level budgets to control costs.
- • Follow OSHA and site safety protocols, use PPE, keep work areas clean, and perform required site inspections.
- • Communicate directly with supervisors, clients, and crew; document work and report progress in scheduling tools.
- • Plan daily tasks, prioritize jobs to meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
What We're Looking For
- • 3–5+ years commercial carpentry or facilities maintenance experience (rough & finish carpentry required).
- • Able to read measurements, basic blueprints, and perform accurate layout, cutting, and framing.
- • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; able to travel to job sites in the Houston area.
- • OSHA-10 certification required; follow all safety rules and use provided PPE.
- • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders/scaffolds, and work in varied temperatures and conditions.
- • Comfortable using tablet/computer apps for schedules, reporting, and basic communication; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

- • High school diploma or GED preferred
- • Bilingual: English and Spanish (preferred)
- • Comfortable with tablets/computers for job tracking and communication
