Carpenter (Job Site Safety & Trailer Fit-Out)

About this role

We are hiring a hands-on carpenter in the West Palm Beach, FL area to install and maintain job-site safety and trailer fit-outs. You’ll work on commercial and civil construction sites installing safety rails, toe boards, ramps, temporary walls and enclosures, elevator protection, and decks for construction trailers. This is physical, on-site work that requires attention to safety and workmanship. You will also build planning tables, hang safety signs, cover hazard areas, mount Smartboards and TVs, and install shelving inside job-site trailers. Candidates must have at least 2 years of carpentry experience and be comfortable working around heavy equipment and active sites.

What you'll do

• • Install job-site safety items: safety rails, toe boards, ramps, temporary walls/enclosures, elevator protection and trailer decks
• • Build and install planning tables, shelving and storage inside construction trailers
• • Mount Smartboards, TVs and other electronics securely in job-site trailers
• • Hang safety signs and cover holes/open areas to control hazards
• • Perform light concrete formwork and rough carpentry tasks as required
• • Maintain tools and materials; keep work areas clean and compliant with site safety rules

What we're looking for

• • 2+ years hands-on carpentry experience on commercial, civil, or industrial sites
• • Strong rough carpentry and concrete formwork skills
• • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools (saws, drills, levels, etc.)
• • Able to read basic plans/layouts and follow work orders
• • Physically able to lift, carry, climb ladders and work outdoors in variable conditions
• • Reliable transportation to West Palm Beach-area job sites

Qualifications

• • 2+ years documented carpentry experience
• • OSHA-10 or equivalent safety training preferred
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• • Able to pass a background check and drug screen
• • Conversational English; Spanish a plus
