Concrete Finisher

About this role

Join a local field crew in Lakeland, FL as a Concrete Finisher. You’ll pour, place, and finish exterior concrete on commercial and infrastructure projects, working outdoors with a small crew to meet project specs and schedules. This is a hands-on role for reliable, detail-oriented people who can set forms, manage casting, operate power vibrators and finishing tools, and monitor curing. Must be able to work in variable weather and follow site safety rules.

What you'll do

• • Set and align concrete forms and maintain formwork for pours
• • Clean and inspect surfaces to identify and correct pouring issues
• • Manage casting and placement of concrete on site
• • Pour, smooth, level and finish concrete using rakes, trowels, floats, screeds and power tools
• • Operate power vibrators for compaction and apply sealers/hardeners as required
• • Monitor weather and curing conditions; protect and cure concrete per specifications

What we're looking for

• • Hands-on experience with concrete finishing, formwork carpentry, and placement
• • Comfortable using hand and power finishing tools and vibrators
• • Able to work outdoors in all weather and perform physical labor (lifting, bending, standing)
• • OSHA 10 certification required
• • Reliable attendance, ability to follow safety policies, and pass a drug screen

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10 certification
• • Authorized to work in the United States
• • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
• • Valid driver's license preferred
• • Ability to read basic plans/layouts and follow verbal instructions
