Concrete Foreman

About This Role

We are hiring an experienced Concrete Foreman in Lakeland, FL to lead daily slab pours and finishing crews. You’ll run pour activities, solve on-site problems that slow production, and make sure slabs are placed and finished right the first time. You’ll work closely with management and other foremen to create pour plans, share manpower across jobs, complete daily reports and safety forms, and train field employees. This is a hands-on, field-first role — you’ll be on-site directing crews and setting the example for safe, efficient work.

What You'll Do

• • Direct daily pour activities and supervise crew tasks from layout through finishing
• • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to verify slab limits, embed locations, and layout
• • Create pour plans with management: manpower, equipment, materials, and schedule
• • Complete daily reports, extra work tickets, safety forms and job documentation
• • Troubleshoot and remove obstacles to ensure timely, quality slab placement and finishing
• • Coordinate manpower and equipment sharing with other foremen between projects

What We're Looking For

• • Proven concrete foreman experience with commercial or industrial slab pours
• • Able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and layout plans
• • Strong knowledge of concrete placing, finishing, curing and protection methods
• • Experience fabricating rebar cages, formwork carpentry, and working with concrete mixers/loaders
• • Enforce jobsite safety procedures and complete safety paperwork daily
• • Good communication skills to coordinate crews, management and subcontractors

Qualifications

• • CMSP (preferred)
• • OSHA 30 Hour (or OSHA 10) certification
• • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• • Forklift certification (preferred) and experience operating loaders
• • Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
