Lattice Boom Crane Operator

About This Role

Lattice boom crane operator based in Atlanta, GA. You'll operate lattice boom cranes to lift, place and set heavy materials on construction and industrial sites across Georgia. Day-to-day work includes rigging, hoisting, setting rebar cages, precast erection and executing planned lifts safely and on time. This role requires a hands-on operator who reads load charts, follows lift plans, coordinates with riggers and site supervisors, and enforces safety procedures. Expect travel to project sites across the state, multi-crane and critical lifts, and steady project work with opportunities for overtime and advancement.

What You'll Do

• • Operate lattice boom cranes to lift, move and set materials (rebar cages, precast panels, formwork, etc.)
• • Perform pre-shift and pre-lift inspections; log crane condition and report defects
• • Rig, hoist and land loads; follow lift plans and published load charts at all times
• • Coordinate with site supervisors, riggers and signal persons for single- and multi-crane lifts
• • Execute blind lifts and critical lifts using established procedures and approved signals
• • Perform basic crane maintenance and keep accurate daily operation and lift records

What We're Looking For

• • Proven experience operating lattice boom cranes on construction or industrial sites
• • Strong rigging skills and crane signaling knowledge (able to work with riggers and signal persons)
• • Ability to read and apply load charts, lift plans, and engineering drawings
• • Experience with critical lifts, multi-crane lifts and blind lifts
• • Willingness to travel to projects across Georgia and work variable shifts including overtime
• • Physically fit for rigging duties and able to work outdoors in varying conditions

Qualifications

• • NCCCO or equivalent crane operator certification preferred
• • Certified signal person / rigging certification preferred
• • OSHA 10 or 30-hour construction safety card preferred
• • Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
• • English required; Spanish helpful
