Electrician Foreman

Houston, TX $23-$35/hr

About this role

Electrician Foreman needed for commercial projects in the Dallas, TX area. This opening is location‑restricted: candidates must live within 25 miles of Dallas. You will lead small crews on site, perform hands‑on electrical work, and ensure jobs get completed safely and on schedule. Typical work is commercial service, distribution, and lighting installs on day shifts with occasional overtime or on‑call assignments. We want a practical leader who can bend conduit, pull large cable, read blueprints, perform load calculations, and step into medium/high‑voltage work when required.

What you'll do

  • Lead and supervise a crew on commercial job sites; assign tasks and verify quality
  • Bend conduit, pull conduit and large cable, install raceways and supports
  • Install and maintain distribution equipment, overcurrent devices, and commercial services
  • Perform lighting installs, branch circuit and feeder load calculations
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints; coordinate work with other trades
  • Conduct on‑site troubleshooting, testing, and medium/high‑voltage work following safety procedures

What we're looking for

  • Proven hands‑on experience with conduit bending, pulling large cable, and commercial electrical installs
  • Experience installing and maintaining distribution equipment and selecting/installing overcurrent devices
  • Competence with medium and high voltage work and related safety practices
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and perform branch circuit and feeder load calculations
  • Available for day shift work with occasional overtime; must be located within 25 miles of Dallas, TX

Qualifications

  • Journeyman electrician license or equivalent preferred
  • NFPA 70E and OSHA 10/30 training preferred or able to obtain
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (local travel within 25 miles)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Able to pass background check and drug screen; Spanish language skills a plus
