Electrician Craftsman 2 — Night Shift (Dallas, TX)

About This Role

Seeking a skilled Electrician Craftsman 2 for night-shift openings in Dallas, TX. This is a mid-level, hands-on role for a self-reliant electrician who can perform installation, troubleshooting, and inspections with limited supervision. This is a per diem position. You must have at least 4 years of electrical experience, be comfortable working nights, read and follow technical drawings, and be ready to work across commercial and residential systems.

What You'll Do

• • Install and service commercial and residential electrical systems, including lighting, panel work, and branch circuits
• • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete work per spec
• • Troubleshoot electrical systems — diagnose faults, test circuits, measure amps, and restore service safely
• • Select, size and install overcurrent protection devices (breakers, fuses) and verify correct settings
• • Perform quality inspections of completed work and correct deficiencies to meet code and safety standards
• • Keep accurate job records, report issues to supervisors, and maintain tools and PPE

What We're Looking For

• • Minimum 4+ years hands-on electrical experience (commercial and residential work preferred)
• • Available to work night shifts consistently and reliably
• • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• • Proficient troubleshooting skills (safety, amp readings, wear-and-tear diagnosis)
• • Experience with lighting installation and system troubleshooting
• • Knowledge of selection and installation of overcurrent devices and basic inspection practices

Qualifications

• • Documented 4+ years of electrical experience
• • Journeyman electrician card or equivalent preferred
• • NFPA 70E and electrical safety training preferred
• • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• • English proficiency for clear jobsite communication
