Electrician Foreman
About This Role
We are hiring Electrician Foremen and General Foremen across the Phoenix metro area to lead field electrical crews on commercial and residential projects. You’ll be the on-site lead responsible for safe, code-compliant installations, quality workmanship, and keeping jobs on schedule. Day-to-day you’ll plan and lay out electrical work from drawings, supervise and mentor crew members, coordinate with project management and other trades, and perform inspections and troubleshooting. Work is metro-wide — expect multiple active job sites and a mix of new construction, tenant improvements, and service work.
What You'll Do
- • Supervise and coordinate electrician crews on active job sites; assign tasks and monitor productivity
- • Interpret drawings and lay out electrical systems to meet schedule and quality standards
- • Install, test, and inspect distribution equipment, lighting, overcurrent devices, and VDV systems
- • Enforce safety practices, building codes, and company/site-specific safety plans
- • Communicate daily with project management, other trades, and subcontractors to resolve issues and keep schedules on track
- • Troubleshoot electrical systems in the field and perform final inspections and punch-list work
What We're Looking For
- • 5+ years of hands-on commercial/residential electrical experience with prior foreman or lead role
- • Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills
- • Proven ability to install and maintain distribution equipment, lighting, overcurrent devices, and VDV systems
- • Solid troubleshooting skills for amps, safety issues, and equipment wear; able to perform field testing
- • Clear verbal and written communication; experience coordinating with PMs and other trades
- • Working knowledge of NEC and local building codes; enforces safety procedures on site
Qualifications
- • Journeyman or Master electrician license preferred (or equivalent field experience)
- • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card preferred
- • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel across Phoenix metro
- • First Aid/CPR and/or AED certification preferred
- • Ability to pass background check and drug screen; Spanish language skills a plus
