Electrician Foreman / General Foreman

Phoenix, AZ $24-$37/hr

About this role

Lead electrical crews on commercial projects across the Phoenix metro. You’ll supervise on-site installation, layout work to meet schedules and quality standards, enforce safety and code compliance, and coordinate daily with project management and other trades. This role requires hands-on leadership in the field — managing crews, inspecting work, troubleshooting electrical systems, and keeping jobs on schedule. Expect varied commercial construction sites across Phoenix with regular weekday hours and occasional extended shifts to meet project milestones.

What you'll do

  • Supervise and coordinate electrician crews on active jobsites across the Phoenix metro
  • Plan and lay out electrical work to meet schedule, quality and code requirements
  • Enforce safety procedures and site-specific training; conduct toolbox talks and inspections
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications; verify installation against drawings
  • Inspect work, troubleshoot electrical systems (distribution, lighting, overcurrent devices) and correct deficiencies
  • Communicate daily with project management, subcontractors and other trades to sequence work and resolve issues

What we're looking for

  • Proven foreman-level experience in commercial electrical construction (distribution, lighting, service installation)
  • Skilled at reading technical drawings, blueprints and project documents
  • Experience installing and maintaining distribution equipment and selecting/setting overcurrent devices
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical systems, safety practices, and code compliance
  • Leadership experience: crew supervision, task assignment, and on-site quality control
  • Clear verbal and written communication with project teams and subcontractors

Qualifications

  • Journeyman or Master electrician license preferred, or equivalent documented field experience
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • NFPA 70E awareness / arc flash training
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; clean driving record preferred
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification
  • English required; Spanish bilingual a plus; ability to pass background and drug screen
