Electrician Foreman
About This Role
Experienced Electrician Foreman needed for per-diem projects across North Dakota. You will lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial construction and service jobs, coordinate daily tasks, and make sure work is done right, on time, and safely. This role requires strong hands-on electrical experience, proven crew leadership, effective communication with project stakeholders, and the ability to represent the organization professionally during phone screens and interviews. What You'll Do
- • Lead, supervise, and direct electrical crews on-site; assign tasks and monitor progress to meet schedules
- • Coordinate daily electrical work with other trades and project management; manage manpower and materials
- • Read and verify drawings/layouts; set up site layout and ensure installations match plans
- • Perform hands-on troubleshooting, system testing, and final quality inspections on electrical systems
- • Enforce safety procedures and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations on every jobsite
- • Communicate clearly with project stakeholders, document work, and represent the company professionally
What We're Looking For
- • 5+ years commercial electrical field experience with proven Foreman or lead role on construction projects
- • Skilled in drawing interpretation, lighting installation, VDV (voice/data/video), and overcurrent device selection/installation
- • Experience with standby/emergency systems, system troubleshooting, and site work inspection
- • Strong leadership and team management skills; able to marshal crews, enforce standards, and solve field issues
- • Knowledge of building codes, construction project management, and general commercial construction practices
- • Willingness to travel for per-diem projects and relocate as needed; valid driver's license and ability to pass drug/background screening
Qualifications
- • Journeyman or Master electrician license (state license or equivalent preferred)
- • OSHA 30 preferred (OSHA 10 minimum where applicable); safety training required
- • NCCER or trade school certification preferred; HVAC/electrical systems training a plus
- • CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- • Fluent English (verbal and written) for clear communication on site and in documentation
