Electrical Foreman
About this role
Seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman for per diem commercial projects across North Dakota. You will lead on-site electrical crews, coordinate daily work, and make sure installations meet quality, code, and safety standards. This role is hands-on: expect to read and interpret drawings, troubleshoot systems, oversee lighting and standby/emergency installs, and represent the project professionally to supervisors and trade partners. Open to candidates willing to relocate for project assignments.
What you'll do
- • Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial construction projects in North Dakota
- • Coordinate daily tasking, crew assignments and material staging to meet project schedules
- • Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams and plans for installations
- • Inspect work for quality and code compliance; perform site layout and work inspections
- • Install and commission lighting, overcurrent devices, standby/emergency systems, and voice/data/video systems
- • Enforce jobsite safety procedures and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders
What we're looking for
- • Strong commercial electrical field experience and proven foreman/leadership skills
- • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and single-line diagrams
- • Experience with lighting systems, overcurrent device selection/installation and standby/emergency systems
- • Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical systems and coordination with other trades
- • Clear verbal and written communication with supervisors, subcontractors and project teams
- • Willingness to work per diem assignments and relocate for project duration in North Dakota
Qualifications
- • Journeyman or Master electrician license (or equivalent) for commercial work
- • Minimum 5 years commercial electrical field experience preferred
- • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E training preferred
- • Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks
- • Ready and able to travel/relocate for project assignments in North Dakota
