Industrial Electrician

About this role

Work as an Industrial Electrician in Dallas handling installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of power and control systems in plants, warehouses and manufacturing sites. Expect hands-on work on distribution gear, motor controls, switchgear and emergency/standby systems in a heavy industrial setting. You’ll read and interpret schematics and technical drawings, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose motor and control issues, and keep equipment compliant with electrical codes and plant safety standards. This role offers steady industrial shifts, overtime opportunities, and on-the-job training to expand your skills.

What you'll do

• • Install and maintain industrial power distribution systems, switchgear, motor control centers and conduit runs
• • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams to perform installs and repairs
• • Troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, starters, drives, and control circuits in industrial environments
• • Select, install and test motor controllers, overcurrent protection, relays, and control devices
• • Install and service standby/emergency power systems and medium/high voltage equipment per specs
• • Perform preventive maintenance, document work, and ensure all work meets electrical codes and plant safety procedures

What we're looking for

• • Proven industrial electrical experience working on power distribution, motor controls and switchgear
• • Skill reading technical drawings, schematics and blueprints
• • Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, motors, starters, drives and control circuits
• • Familiarity with medium- and high-voltage equipment and safe work practices
• • Knowledge of selection and installation of overcurrent devices and motor controllers
• • Ability to follow lockout/tagout, NFPA 70E practices and plant safety rules

Qualifications

• • Journeyman electrician credential or 5+ years industrial electrical experience (equivalent experience accepted)
• • NFPA 70E / arc-flash training and compliance experience
• • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 construction safety card
• • Medium- and high-voltage training or demonstrated experience working safely on MV/HV systems
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• • Ability to pass drug screen and background check
• • English required; Spanish language skills a plus
