General Labor Foreman

About this role

General Labor Foreman needed for a data center construction project in Lebanon, IN. This is a hands-on lead role overseeing general labor crews on site. We want local, non-union candidates with equipment operator experience and basic carpentry skills who can step in and get work done. You will coordinate crews daily, perform and inspect hands-on tasks, and keep the site moving to schedule. This is a practical job — you’ll lead by example, run equipment when needed, and ensure basic quality and safety standards are met.

What you'll do

• • Lead and coordinate daily tasks for general labor crews on a data center construction site
• • Assign work, set priorities, and supervise crew productivity and workmanship
• • Perform hands-on labor as needed: layout, cleanup, material handling, basic framing and blocking
• • Operate equipment (forklift, skid steer, small excavator, etc.) to support site activities
• • Enforce site safety rules, complete basic safety checks, and report hazards
• • Maintain tools, equipment, and jobsite housekeeping; communicate status to field supervision

What we're looking for

• • Local to Lebanon, IN area and available for site day shifts; non-union candidates only
• • Minimum 3+ years construction experience with proven crew leadership or foreman experience
• • Equipment operator background (forklift, skid steer, compact equipment) required
• • Basic carpentry skills: layout, blocking, simple framing and measuring
• • Reliable transportation, punctual attendance, and ability to work in variable weather
• • Willingness to pass background check, drug screen, and site-specific safety training

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10-hour construction card preferred
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• • Forklift and equipment operator certifications preferred
• • Able to read basic plans and perform accurate measurements
• • English proficiency for clear on-site communication
