General Labor Foreman

About this role

Seeking a hands-on, non-union General Labor Foreman to lead crews on a data center construction project in Lebanon, Indiana. This is a local position paying up to $45/hr for experienced candidates with equipment operator background and basic carpentry skills. You will run day-to-day crew activities on site, perform and oversee hands-on construction tasks as needed, and coordinate with superintendents to keep work moving safely and on schedule. Local, non-union applicants only — steady, long-term work on a single-site project.

What you'll do

• • Lead and coordinate general labor crews on the data center jobsite; assign daily tasks and track progress
• • Perform hands-on labor and carpentry tasks when needed (framing, blocking, basic finish work)
• • Operate or support operation of site equipment (skid steer, forklift, small excavator) and oversee operator work
• • Monitor jobsite safety and quality; enforce PPE and safe work practices
• • Maintain basic site records, report progress to superintendents, and manage tools/materials for your crew

What we're looking for

• • Proven foreman or lead experience on commercial construction sites, preferably data center or industrial work
• • Equipment operator background (skid steer, forklift, excavator) — tickets a plus
• • Basic carpentry skills and ability to complete hands-on tasks with crew
• • Local, non-union candidates only with reliable transportation to Lebanon, IN
• • Able to lift heavy materials, stand for long shifts, and work in varying weather conditions

Qualifications

• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• • OSHA 10 (or OSHA 30 preferred) or willing to obtain
• • Equipment operator certifications preferred (NCCER, manufacturer tickets, etc.)
• • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• • High school diploma or GED preferred
• • Strong English communication skills for crew supervision and safety briefings
