Labor Journeyman

About This Role

Join a hands-on crew as a Labor Journeyman in Boynton Beach, FL. You’ll keep job sites clean and safe, support carpenters, masons and other trades, assist with deliveries and material staging, and help maintain organized, hazard-free work areas. This role is physical and team-oriented. Construction experience is preferred but not required — OSHA 10 training is recommended and assistance can be provided. If you work hard, follow directions, and take safety seriously, this is a steady, local opportunity.

What You'll Do

• • Perform setup, cleanup and debris removal on interior and exterior project sites
• • Assist carpenters, masons and other trades with basic tasks as directed by the foreperson
• • Load, unload and stage materials; assist with deliveries and inventory control
• • Clean and sanitize jobsite trailers and maintain general housekeeping
• • Navigate jobsite terrain safely and identify/remove hazards; report incidents to Foreperson/Safety Leader
• • Follow work plans and only perform scope approved by Foreperson, Safety and Management

What We're Looking For

• • Hands-on experience with loading/unloading materials and general construction tasks (preferred)
• • Basic rough carpentry skills and ability to measure, cut, and help with simple installations
• • Strong verbal and written communication to coordinate with crews and report issues
• • Able to perform site cleanup, demolition support and enforce safety procedures on site
• • Physically able to lift regularly (50+ lbs), stand, bend, and work in varying weather
• • Willingness to follow directions from Foreperson and work as part of a team

Qualifications

• • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• • OSHA 10 preferred — assistance available to obtain certification if needed
• • Proof of certifications/degrees submitted upon hire
• • Ability to read, understand and communicate in English for safety and reporting
• • Reliable attendance and ability to work in high-stress or extreme weather conditions
