What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience operating excavators and other earthmoving equipment on construction sites
  • Ability to set up and use lasers/GPS and read civil/site drawings to achieve required grades
  • Knowledge of OSHA trenching/benching and safe excavation practices

  • Reliable transportation to Culpeper job sites and ability to work a full day shift schedule

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years operating excavators/backhoes/dozers/loaders on commercial sites
  • Comfortable using rotating/slope lasers, GPS rover or similar grade control tools
  • Valid driver’s license and capable of passing a pre-employment drug screen
  • OSHA 10 or 30 card and equipment operator certifications preferred

What we offer

  • Stable, lined-up project schedules with regular day shifts
  • Overtime opportunities when available
