About this role

Looking for experienced HVAC technicians who live within 20 miles of ZIP code 76233. This is a location-based search for local commercial service and repair technicians who can handle controls troubleshooting, system start-ups, refrigerant work and general commercial HVAC repairs. You’ll be assigned local service routes and commercial sites, handling diagnostics, repairs, and start-up/testing tasks. Day-shift, hands-on work — go home nights. Candidates should be ready to respond to service calls, perform system troubleshooting, and work independently or with a small crew.

What you'll do

• • Perform controls troubleshooting and repairs on commercial HVAC systems
• • Conduct HVAC system start-up, commissioning and performance testing
• • Diagnose system faults and complete system-level troubleshooting
• • Locate refrigerant leaks, perform recovery and charging tasks safely
• • Complete general commercial HVAC repair, maintenance and tune-ups
• • Document work performed, parts used, and report issues to supervisors

What we're looking for

• • Proven experience troubleshooting controls and commercial HVAC systems
• • Hands-on experience with system start-up, testing and commissioning
• • Skilled in system troubleshooting and fault isolation
• • Experience with refrigerant leak detection, recovery and charging
• • Comfort working on commercial equipment, rooftop units and mechanical rooms
• • Able to work independently on local service routes and follow safety procedures

Qualifications

• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; must live within 20 miles of ZIP 76233 or reliably commute
• • Comfort reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• • Able to lift and carry tools and equipment; work on ladders and rooftops
• • EPA 608 certification preferred but not required
• • Able to pass background check and drug screen where applicable
