Ironworker — Structural Bolt-Up

About This Role

Ironworker needed in Beaumont, TX to perform bolt-up assembly and installation of structural steel in a fabrication facility. You will read and interpret fabrication drawings, align and fit structural components, and complete bolt-up assemblies to meet quality and safety standards. This is hands-on work in both indoor and outdoor conditions. The role is suited to experienced ironworkers who take pride in accurate fits, strong math and blueprint skills, and a commitment to safe, productive work. What You'll Do

• • Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and material lists to plan assembly steps
• • Align, position, fit, and clamp structural steel components for bolt-up assembly
• • Install bolts, torque to spec, and complete structural connections per drawings and procedures
• • Inspect and receive incoming materials; check dimensions and report discrepancies
• • Operate hand and power tools, hoists, and rigging equipment safely during assembly
• • Follow all safety and quality procedures while working indoors and outdoors in varying weather

What We're Looking For

• • Minimum 3 years ironworking, structural steel, or fabrication experience preferred
• • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, dimensions, and layout marks
• • Strong math and problem-solving skills for measuring and aligning components
• • Comfortable performing physical work: lifting, climbing, and working at heights
• • Experience operating common tools and equipment used in structural assembly
• • Commitment to following safety procedures and wearing required PPE

Qualifications

• • High school diploma or GED preferred; technical school certificate a plus
• • OSHA 10 (or OSHA 30) preferred or willingness to obtain
• • Ability to pass drug screen and background check
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• • Forklift, overhead crane, or rigging certification helpful
