Ironworker

About this role

Hiring experienced Ironworkers in the Fayetteville, AR area for structural steel and general ironwork on commercial projects. Work will include rigging, hoisting, setting rebar cages, precast erection, installing steel columns and beams, and metal deck installation for concrete placement. Candidates should be ready for hands-on, outdoor work on local job sites. This is local-hire focused — expect day shifts with potential overtime, travel between Fayetteville-area sites, and a safety-first jobsite culture.

What you'll do

• • Rig, hoist, lift and set rebar cages, precast panels and structural members per lift plans
• • Install steel columns and beams; align and connect steel members using bolting and welding prep
• • Perform crane signaling and follow lift plans during setting and erection operations
• • Install and secure metal deck systems in preparation for concrete placement
• • Conduct general ironwork tasks on commercial construction sites and assist with site setup/cleanup
• • Follow site safety procedures, use required PPE, and read basic drawings and layout marks

What we're looking for

• • Hands-on experience with structural ironwork, rigging, and commercial construction
• • Able to perform crane signaling, follow lift plans, and work safely around heavy equipment
• • Skilled at installing and connecting steel columns, beams, and metal deck systems
• • Comfortable working at heights, lifting heavy materials, and working outdoors in varied weather
• • Reliable transportation to Fayetteville-area job sites and ability to pass site onboarding (drug screen/background check as required)

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (preferred)
• • Signal person certification or documented crane signaling experience
• • Rigging/hoisting certification or demonstrable rigging experience
• • Ability to read basic blueprints, lift plans, and layout marks
• • Valid driver’s license; English required, bilingual English/Spanish helpful
