Lead the installation of underground utility pipes as the Pipelayer Foreman based in Richmond, VA. You’ll oversee pipe technicians, set grade stakes, verify elevations, and ensure pipe alignment and connections meet project specs. Work is hands-on: trench entry, shoring checks, pipe fit-up and testing are part of the daily routine. This is a per diem position open to workers willing to relocate. You’ll be the field lead who enforces safe excavation and trench procedures, interprets construction plans, and keeps work moving to schedule while protecting the long-term integrity of the utility system.

Pipelayer needed in Chesapeake, VA for steady underground utility work. You’ll install, grade, and join sewer, storm, and water pipe on municipal and commercial jobsites. Pay is $25–35/hr DOE with overtime available. This is physical, hands-on work outside in all seasons. You’ll work with a crew, follow site plans and grade stakes, operate or assist with small equipment, and be expected to work safely and reliably. Previous pipelaying or trenching experience is required.
