Prefabrication EHS Specialist

About this role

Work onsite in a busy Phoenix prefabrication shop as the go-to EHS specialist supporting safe, compliant, and efficient shop-floor operations. You’ll run inspections, deliver hands-on safety training, investigate incidents, and work with production and maintenance to reduce risk. This role is practical and field-focused — you’ll spend most of your day on the shop floor identifying hazards, documenting findings, and driving corrective actions. Typical schedule is day shift, on-site in Phoenix; 2–4 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is required.

What you'll do

• • Conduct regular facility inspections and audits, document observations, and follow up with corrective action recommendations
• • Deliver shop-floor safety training on equipment safety, ergonomics, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and safe work practices
• • Assist with incident and near-miss investigations: collect data, identify root causes, and track corrective actions to closure
• • Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, permits, and compliance activities; monitor safety metrics and trends
• • Coordinate environmental tasks including waste labeling, recycling, and stormwater compliance; collaborate with production and maintenance to resolve EHS issues

What we're looking for

• • 2–4 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, prefabrication, or industrial operations
• • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification (required)
• • Current First Aid and CPR certification (required)
• • Strong verbal and written communication; able to lead training and clearly document inspections and incidents
• • Working knowledge of accident investigation, root cause analysis, preventive maintenance inspections, and applicable environmental regulations

Qualifications

• • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry (required)
• • First Aid & CPR certification (required)
• • Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification (preferred)
• • Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or pursuit of ASP (preferred)
• • 2–4 years EHS experience in manufacturing or prefabrication operations
• • Ability to pass background and drug screening as required by site
