PV Installer / Technician

About this role

Be part of a ground-mounted solar project in Fort Pierce, FL. We need reliable PV Installers to start Monday, September 21 for a 2+ month engagement with the possibility to extend. Work is outdoors and crew-oriented. Candidates with solar/PV experience are preferred, but basic construction experience is required. Basic carpentry skills are a plus. If you can handle physical work, follow site safety, and start on 9/21, we want to talk to you.

What you'll do

• • Install racking, modules, and PV system components per plans and site instructions
• • Handle loading/unloading and staging of materials on site
• • Perform basic electrical and conduit work under supervision (module wiring, grounding)
• • Maintain tools and equipment, keep work areas clean and organized
• • Follow site safety rules, attend site orientation, and use PPE as required
• • Work with crew leads to read plans, mark layouts, and meet daily production goals

What we're looking for

• • Available to start on September 21 and able to commit for the 2+ month project
• • Basic construction experience required; experience on PV or solar farms preferred
• • Comfortable working outdoors in variable weather and performing physical labor
• • Basic carpentry skills are a plus (framing, fastening, layout)
• • Reliable transportation to Fort Pierce jobsite and ability to follow crew schedule
• • Willingness to follow site-specific safety rules and attend required training

Qualifications

• • Prior PV or solar installation experience preferred
• • Basic construction or trade background
• • OSHA 10 card or equivalent safety training preferred (if available)
• • Ability to read simple plans and follow verbal instructions
• • English proficiency for safe communication on site
