NCW is hiring industrial concrete workers in Vinton, TX for construction of a new melt shop and caster at a steel mill. Roles include wall labor/carpentry and rodbuster duties on an industrial concrete project. Work starts 09.08.26 on a schedule of 4:00 AM–2:30 PM, six days per week (6x10s). The assignment is planned for a minimum of two months with the intent to move strong performers to the next site. Job site: 8100 Border Steel Rd, Vinton, TX. All personnel must complete a site safety orientation and site-specific training upon arrival. Candidates must provide documentation of a passed 10-panel urine rapid drug screen and proof of OSHA 10-hour construction training. English or Spanish is acceptable. Bring the basic hand tools for your role (rodbuster or carpenter/wall laborer setup).

The Civil Concrete Finisher will place, finish, and cure concrete surfaces to meet project specifications and quality standards on construction sites. Day-to-day work includes spreading and striking concrete, floating and troweling to specified grades and slopes, completing edges, joints and surface treatments, reading plans and verifying grades, and operating finishing tools and equipment safely. Experienced crew members will mentor less experienced team members and help maintain safe, high-quality field practices in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
