Experienced heavy equipment operators needed in Orlando, FL to run excavators, dozers, skid steers, loaders and related gear on concrete construction sites. Work under a foreman’s direction to handle layout, fine grading, trenching, pit excavations, backfill/compaction and hoisting while keeping equipment safe and productive. This is hands-on field work. You’ll plan spoil placement and truck needs for continuous production, run rotating and slope lasers for grade control, follow OSHA excavation standards, assist with basic equipment upkeep, and work with a crew to hit schedule and quality targets.
