Fraser Patterson
Founder & CEO

Fraser is a repeat contech founder, skilled tradesman, GC and educator. He was co-founder and CEO of Bolster, a tech-enabled design-build firm sold to Porch Group as well as OnisVida, a remodeling platform that helps homeowners manage remodels. Fraser began his career as an apprentice carpenter in Scotland before starting a GC firm in London. He has a theory for most things and says “wee” a lot.

Jesse Chan-Norris
Engineering

Jesse has nearly two decades experience building innovative tech products and teams. He has worked at companies including design studio Linked by Air, Perceptive Things and Motivate (the operator of Citi Bike), where he helped author GBFS, the bikeshare data sharing standard. Jesse co-founded music platform Indaba, acquired by Splice.

Nicole Kaes
Marketing

Nicole has spent her career driving demand generation strategies for breakout, high-growth brands seeking to solve needs for legacy-driven industries. She was VP Marketing at Bolster, Marketing Director for Harri, and managed campaigns for Amazon's Pets Category. She began her career at Thrillist Media Group. She is a member of Chief and volunteers for the National Hemophilia Foundation. She holds a B.A. from The Ohio State University and lives in Montclair, N.J.

Daniel Spillane
Sales

Prior to Skillit, Daniel was Director Of Strategy at a healthcare startup, COO of a real estate firm and COO of Marine Operations at Bridgewater Associates where he managed a fleet of oceanographic research vessels. Daniel started his career at TSG Reporting and helped scale the company before taking client-facing roles with Deloitte and Ernst & Young.

Stacy Oentoro Ward
Operations

Prior to Skillit, Stacy was the VP of Investments and sat in the CEO Office for a $1B sector and stage agnostic VC fund in Southeast Asia. In her time as an investor she covered proptech, healthcare, education and e-Commerce. Stacy started her career in digital marketing at 2U Inc, a NASDAQ-listed edtech company based in Washington D.C. She thinks we spend too much time at Tommy Bahama in New York despite secretly being its biggest fan.

Chris Danzig
Product

Chris has spent his career innovating in the fields of media and technology. At 16, he was the youngest Imagineer ever to join the team at Walt Disney Imagineering R&D and later joined Interplay Ventures in charge of their incubation arm. He holds a BS in Neuroscience from Columbia University where he built the student-run television station.
