Introducing search duplication

Ever wish you could reuse a craft professional search that worked well before? Now you can: our new feature lets you duplicate any search and make small changes instead of starting over.

We developed this feature in response to feedback from employers who regularly manage multiple hiring initiatives across different projects, locations, and trade specializations.

Whether you're recruiting craft professionals for multiple projects or adapting your hiring criteria as those projects evolve, this feature helps you maintain consistency while easily adjusting to changing needs.

Search duplication helps you…

  1. Save time: Copy a search that worked before instead of filling out everything again

  2. Stay consistent: Use what works while changing only what you need to

  3. Hire for multiple sites: Copy a search and adjust it for different locations

Real-Life Examples

  • Need 5 welders in Dallas and 3 in Houston? Copy your Dallas search and just change the location.

  • Want the same electricians but with a specific certification? Copy the search and add the new requirement.

  • Need more craft pros for this year’s projects? Copy last year's search and update the dates.

Start using search duplication today

The search duplication feature is now available to all Skillit customers—simply look for the ellipsis icon in any existing search, then look for the 'duplicate' option.
