Job Description
As a concrete worker, you will be responsible for preparing, pouring, finishing, and curing concrete for foundations, slabs, sidewalks, and structural elements. This role requires hands-on experience, physical stamina, and strong attention to detail to ensure structural integrity and high-quality finishes.
You’ll collaborate with supervisors, site managers, and other trades to complete projects safely and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare construction sites by cleaning, grading, and setting up forms
Mix, pour, and spread concrete using hand and power tools
Set and align concrete forms according to blueprints and specifications
Smooth and finish surfaces using trowels, floats, and finishing tools
Install reinforcing materials such as rebar or wire mesh
Monitor curing process to ensure strength and durability
Repair, patch, or resurface existing concrete structures
Follow all site safety regulations and OSHA guidelines
Concrete Carpenter & Formwork Responsibilities
We are also hiring candidates with experience in concrete carpenter jobs in Baltimore and formwork carpenter jobs in Baltimore. Applicants with a background in a concrete construction carpenter job role will be considered for expanded responsibilities on structural projects.
Concrete carpenter duties include:
Constructing and installing wood or metal formwork systems

Installing anchor bolts, embeds, and structural supports
Stripping and resetting formwork after concrete curing
Assisting with large-scale commercial concrete framing projects

Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a concrete worker or similar construction role
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques
Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment safely
Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work outdoors
Reliable transportation to job sites in Baltimore, MD
