Skillit’s Worker Standards and Policies
We are so thankful to have you on Skillit. That being said, we also want to make sure the Skillit experience is strong for all parties involved (workers, contractors, Skillit team)
Skillit Worker Standards:
These standards are to ensure that all workers on the Skillit platform are also strong employees for Skillit customers, not just in their craft and experience, but in their communication and professionalism.
1) Professional Communication
Communicate respectfully and professionally with Skillit customers and the Skillit team.
Use clear language in texts, calls, and messages.
2) Responsiveness
Respond to calls, texts, or messages from Skillit as soon as you can.
If you miss a message, reply when you’re available so we can keep your opportunities moving.
3) Interview and Meeting Reliability
If you schedule an interview, call, or onsite meeting, be on time and prepared.
If you cannot make it, notify Skillit as early as possible so we can reschedule.
4) Accuracy and Honesty
Provide accurate information about your work experience, certifications, and availability.
Update your profile if anything changes or reach out to Skillit if you have any issues or questions.
5) Reliability and Follow-Through
If you accept a role or commit to a start date, follow through and communicate immediately if plans change.
Failure to uphold these standards could result in rejecting your profile for future opportunities with Skillit and our customers.
