Responsibilities
Perform skilled work in maintenance, repair and construction of lighting and power as part of the electrical jobs.
Ability to control electrical systems in a responsible and accurate manner.
Perform complex electrical tasks, including wiring, conduit sizing and switchgear installation.
Install and terminate bus feeders, motors, and controls, ensuring compliance with safety codes.
Troubleshoot and repair energized circuits and electrical equipment.
Supervise rough-ins, underground layouts, and installation preparation.
Read and interpret blueprints and control wiring diagrams for installation planning.
Possess the ability to understand construction and repairs from drawings or sketches, estimate materials, supplies and labor costs.
Qualifications

Experience in commercial, industrial or government electrical work (professionally paid skilled electrician jobs).
Troubleshooting experience with motors, controls, and complex systems.
Switchgear-, generators, PMs and motor controls are highly beneficial to have.
Knowledge of standard electrical code requirements.
Able to work well individually as well as with others in the team.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Must own set of hand tools required for the electrical work.
Must provide a current certificate of competence.
Must have a current and valid driver’s license if essential to perform certain duties while on any of the electrician jobs.
This position involves pre-employment drug testing.
Willing to answer emergency calls at all hours.
Light work: Applying up to 20 pounds of force occasionally to move or lift objects as needed for construction electrician jobs.
Certifications & Training:
Required: CPR Certification, OSHA 10 Certification, scaffolding and aerial lift training.
Preferred: OSHA 30 Certification, Confined Space Certification, leadership training.
Nice to Have: Additional certifications in safety protocols or manufacturer-specific systems.
